"APT." is the track a lot of dance requests name. An APT. dance template is planned and not for sale. Thriller Dance is a different silent routine. This page is about the recording.
The recording
"APT." is a song by New Zealand and South Korean singer Rosé and American singer-songwriter Bruno Mars. It was released on 18 October 2024 through The Black Label and Atlantic. It is the lead single from Rosé's debut studio album Rosie (2024). The length given on the song's Wikipedia page is 2:49.
The title and the chorus come from a South Korean drinking game. Wikipedia describes the chorus as built around the game's chant of apateu (아파트), Korean for "apartment". The same article says the recording includes elements from Toni Basil's 1982 song "Mickey".
That is the song people mean when they ask for an APT. dance video. The chant is the hook. A silent clip of a different dance is not this track.
What we can and cannot render
An APT. dance template is planned and not for sale. The default, if it is ever offered, is a silent clip. This page does not embed the recording and does not claim a license for it. There is no sample and no public credit price for that planned template.
Thriller Dance is the dance you can open now: one photo, a zombie-style group routine, 15 seconds, silent, listed at 50 credits. Skeleton hallway and Zombie street are the templates. They are a different routine from Rosé and Bruno Mars's video, and the published samples have no "APT." audio.
If you post a Thriller Dance clip and add "APT." yourself, that is your post and your music rights, not something this site generated. The effect will not do it for you.
Other named tracks people ask about are covered the same way: "Alors on danse" (a planned silent template, not for sale), "Smalltown Boy", and "Tip Toe Wing In My Jawwdinz". The index is trends.
How to avoid a clip that is not the song
- If you need "APT." in the video, do not start from Thriller Dance and assume the song will be there. It will not.
- If you only need a silent Halloween group dance from one photo, open Thriller Dance and read the sample first on the Halloween hub.
- Add music later only from a source you are allowed to use. This site will not add "APT." for you.
