World models, explained

Introduction only. Not for sale. This page does not generate a video.

Two names showed up together at the end of October 2026. They are not the same kind of tool, and neither one is a HiVideoStudio effect.

Echo-3 is the reconstruction in the 27 October posts: a short phone video of a real place becomes a 3D Gaussian splat, and one demo of that splat was rendered in the open-source PlayCanvas engine. Genie 4 is Google DeepMind's research preview of a simulated world you steer while it runs, with audio generated along with the picture. Genie 4 is not a face-swap tool. Echo-3, in those posts, is not one either.

HiVideoStudio sells photo-to-video effects. One photo goes into a template the catalog already has, and the page shows the credit price before a 15-second clip. That is a different job from rebuilding a room or steering a simulation. The catalog is on effects. The long comparison is world models and AI video effects.

Henge is a third, separate tool: an open studio for character swap and motion transfer. It is not a world model, and it is not for sale here.

Seedance 2.5 is not in this pair. The fal cards checked on 2026-10-29 describe a ByteDance video model with text, image, and reference endpoints. That page is an introduction. It is not for sale here, and it is not a world model. The guide is Seedance 2.5.

How to pick a page

  1. Open Echo-3 if the question is a phone video of a real room turned into a 3D splat.
  2. Open Genie 4 if the question is a simulated world with live steering and generated sound.
  3. Open the effects catalog if the question is a photo turned into a clip this site sells.
  4. Open Henge only to read what that studio does. This site does not run it.

Quick answers

Can I generate Echo-3 or Genie 4 here? No. These pages are introductions. They have no sample upload, no credit price, and no Generate button.

Is Genie 4 a face-swap tool? No. DeepMind's 27 October 2026 post describes a steerable simulation with native audio, not a photo swapped onto a person in a clip.

Where are the photo effects? On the effects catalog. Each card is an indexed row. Henge is not one of those rows.
