In October 2026 a short clip of a Rumpelstiltskin-like character dancing in a barn spread with Riff Raff's 2014 track. The character is from a fairy tale. Know Your Meme classes the clip as AI. A Rumpelstiltskin dance template on HiVideoStudio is planned and not for sale.
The tale, in one paragraph
Rumpelstiltskin is a German fairy tale collected by the Brothers Grimm in the 1812 edition of Children's and Household Tales. The German title linked from the English article is Rumpelstilzchen. An imp spins straw into gold in exchange for a woman's firstborn child. In the 1812 ending he ran away angrily and never came back. An 1857 edition revised that to a more violent ending: he drove his right foot into the ground up to his waist, then tore himself in two. An oral version the Grimms collected has him fly out of the window on a cooking ladle. That is the story. It is not the viral clip, and this site does not turn a photo into that imp.
The clip is AI, not a 1987 film
Know Your Meme's entry, updated 19 October 2026, classes the meme as confirmed and AI-generated. The entry says some viewers thought the clip came from an old Russian film or from the 1987 Rumpelstiltskin movie. The entry's conclusion is that the clip is AI.
The original video, according to that entry, was posted on 27 August 2026 by the Instagram pages Stroinaya, Neuroferma, and Anna Glinskaya. The account named on the embed is Tatyana Tereshchenko (@stroinaya). The scene Know Your Meme describes: a short Rumpelstiltskin-like character dances for a woman in a barn, turns straw into gold, she kisses him, and he turns into a prince. The entry says the video gained over 840 shares in about a month. The Instagram reel it cites is DcjC4hHCb0C.
On 29 September 2026, TikTok account @6aimbot9 paired the clip with Riff Raff's track. The caption Know Your Meme quotes is "The type of dreams I be having after taking dollar store melatonin." The entry says that post gained over 850,000 views in a week. The sound title shown there is "Tip Toe Wing In My Jawwwdinz – RiFF RAFF". The song's own title is "Tip Toe Wing In My Jawwdinz". Release facts for the record are on the song page. The TikTok post KYM cites is this video.
On 1 October 2026, the entry says, an X post by @itsjusttimbro drew over 9.8 million views and 11,000 likes in five days. Know Your Meme cites an NBC News article on 7 October 2026 titled "An AI-generated Rumpelstiltskin meme is freaking out much of the internet." This page has not re-reported NBC's own wording beyond that title and date. On 18 October 2026, the entry says Jacksonville Jaguars players used the dance after a touchdown in London, and that an NFL Memes post of the celebration drew over 1.5 million views, 32,000 likes, and 230 replies in a day.
Later edits that swap the character for someone else are the meme spreading. They are not a HiVideoStudio effect.
What we do not render
A Rumpelstiltskin dance template is planned and not for sale. The default is silent. This page does not embed Riff Raff's recording and does not claim a license for it. There is no sample, no barn scene, and no public credit price for that planned template. The viral barn clip stays on the sites that posted it.
Thriller Dance is the closest Halloween dance we do offer, and it is not this. One photo, a silent 15-second zombie-style group routine, listed at 50 credits. It does not include Riff Raff's vocal. Samples are on the Halloween hub.
AI Zombie is one photo and one of three horror templates. It is not a fairy-tale imp and not a couple. See zombie couple videos for that limit.
How to read the meme without inventing a film
- Treat the barn clip as AI, which is what Know Your Meme concluded, not as a scene from the 1987 movie.
- Use the song's Wikipedia title, "Tip Toe Wing In My Jawwdinz", when you mean the 2014 record. Caption spellings vary. The song page lists them.
- Do not look for a render button for this meme on HiVideoStudio. There isn't one. A silent group dance, if that is a different request, is Thriller Dance.
