Seedance 2.5, on the fal cards checked for this page, is a ByteDance video model sold through fal under the Dreamina Seedance 2.5 name. HiVideoStudio does not sell it. This page has no sample file, no Generate button, and no credit price.
HiVideoStudio is not affiliated with ByteDance, Dreamina, or fal.
What the three cards say
On 2026-10-29 these three markdown cards returned HTTP 200:
- Text to video, model id `bytedance/seedance-2.5/text-to-video`. The overview says it generates a native 30-second single shot from a text prompt, at up to 720p. In the schema on that same file, `prompt` is required.
- Image to video, model id `bytedance/seedance-2.5/image-to-video`. The overview says it animates one still into a native 30-second clip at up to 720p. In the schema, `image_url` is required and `prompt` is optional. An optional `end_image_url` is the last frame. `generate_audio` defaults to true, and the file says the price is the same whether audio is on or off. A `draft` flag asks for a 480p preview and a `draft_id` that the file says can be finished at 1080p within seven days.
- Reference to video, model id `bytedance/seedance-2.5/reference-to-video`. The overview says it takes up to 50 image, video, audio, and style references and locks a character, set, and palette across a 30-second take. The same file says video inputs multiply the price by 0.6, and that video references are billed for both the input and the output.
All three files list resolution options `480p`, `720p`, and `1080p`, with `720p` as the default, and durations `auto` or 4 through 30 seconds. All three also print per-second approximations of about $0.2205 at 480p, $0.4730 at 720p, and $1.164 at 1080p, plus $0.0214 per 1,000 tokens at 480p and 720p and about $0.0234 per 1,000 tokens at 1080p. The token line is written as height times width times (input duration plus output duration) times 24, divided by 1024. Those are fal's published rates. They are not a HiVideoStudio credit price. This site has not called the endpoints, so it has not checked which of the two sentences in each file wins: the overview's "up to 720p", or the schema's 1080p option and the draft line that names 1080p.
A separate watchlist row is an enterprise 4K line. These three cards are not that product, and this page does not document it.
What this site already runs is a different id
The public 15-second table in this repo names `seedance-2.0-mini` as the engine for Survival Horror AI at 50 credits, Ozil Goal AI at 50 credits, and Thriller Dance at 50 credits. That id is not `bytedance/seedance-2.5/image-to-video`. Opening one of those effects does not run the cards above. AI Zombie is 45 credits and is not labeled with this model id either.
Echo-3 and Genie 4 are world-model introductions. Seedance 2.5, in these cards, is a clip generator. It is not a scan of a room and it is not a world you steer. The comparison of those two is Echo-3 and Genie 4.
How to read a Seedance 2.5 claim
- Read the model id. `seedance-2.0-mini` on a HiVideoStudio effect is not `bytedance/seedance-2.5`.
- Read which fal card is being quoted. Text, image, and reference are three endpoints, and the reference card bills video inputs differently.
- If a page on this site has a credit price, that price is the catalog's price. This Seedance 2.5 page has no credit price.
- Do not upload a photo here. Nothing on this page is generated.
Quick answers
Can I generate Seedance 2.5 on HiVideoStudio? No. This page is not for sale. There is no sample, no Generate button, and no credit price.
Is Seedance 2.5 the engine behind Survival Horror AI? The public table names seedance-2.0-mini for that effect. The fal cards checked here use bytedance/seedance-2.5. This page does not treat those as the same id.
Does fal's card agree with itself about 1080p? The overviews say up to 720p. The same files list 1080p in the resolution options and, on image-to-video, in the draft note. This site did not run a job to see which line the API follows.
Is this a world model like Genie 4? No. The cards describe a text, image, or reference clip. Genie 4's research post describes a simulation you steer.
