Photo Tips for Survival Horror AI

The Survival Horror AI effect takes one photo and returns a 15-second vertical video. This page is how to frame that still, and what the published sample actually contains. The price on the public table is 50 credits. The engine named in the effect config is Seedance 2.0 mini, 9:16, with the listed render at 480p. The Studio pack unlocks 720p on that same 50-credit render.

Published sample, 15 seconds, with sound. The poster is the rainy close-up of the test face holding a flashlight.

What the published sample shows

On 2026-10-28 the sample URL returned HTTP 200. The file is 10,297,174 bytes, the same length as the copy measured for this guide. That copy is 15.04 seconds, 720×1280, H.264, 24 frames per second, 361 frames, with an AAC stereo track. The page labels it 15 seconds. The 720×1280 figure is the sample file. A customer render is listed at 480p unless the Studio pack unlocks 720p.

Frames checked in that file:

  • The opening frame is a close portrait. One adult, short dark hair, black hooded rain jacket, both hands on a small flashlight, looking at the camera. The hood is down. Nothing covers the eyes.
  • A few seconds in, the same person is in heavy rain, mouth open, flashlight beam across the jacket.
  • The wide shot is a ruined street in rain. He looks back over his shoulder. The flashlight points down the wet road. Broken building shells sit on both sides.
  • The next shot is from behind him in a long corridor: peeling walls, wall lamps, papers on the floor, the flashlight beam ahead.
  • Later he stands in that corridor with the flashlight up, and two figures in torn clothes stand in the doorways behind him.
  • The last frame checked is a closer view of one of those figures in the dark corridor.

The poster still is the rainy close-up from this sample: the same jacket, both hands on the flashlight, looking off to the side.

The face in the sample is an AI-generated test face. Your upload replaces that face. The street, the corridor, the flashlight, and the figures are the effect.

How to frame the still

  1. Use one adult who agreed to be in the clip. Leave the eyes and mouth visible, and light the face so both read clearly. The sample opens on a face that fills the upper half of a vertical frame.
  2. Skip sunglasses, a hand over the face, and a group photo. The effect keeps one lead. A second person in the still gives the model a second face to chase.
  3. Open Survival Horror AI. Leave the optional direction empty for the default rainy scene, or add a short note such as a red jacket or more rain. Then generate. The screen shows 50 credits before the 15-second clip starts. A failed or blocked render is refunded.

JPEG, PNG, or WEBP, up to 10 MB. The file rules are in how to pick the input photo. There is no minimum pixel size in the uploader. A tiny file can pass that check and still give the model too little face to hold.

The sample's jacket and flashlight are part of the generated scene. You do not need to photograph a flashlight. A plain, well-lit face is the useful input. The optional note is where a jacket color goes, when you want one.

What this render is

Every sold clip is 15 seconds, vertical 9:16, MP4, with sound. The public table lists 50 credits. Typical time shown on the effect page is about 2 to 4 minutes. The scene is original. HiVideoStudio is not affiliated with Capcom or Sony.

AI Zombie is the other one-photo horror effect, at 45 credits, with three templates and sound. Thriller Dance is 50 credits and silent. Samples for the Halloween set are on the Halloween hub.

A two-person zombie clip, a pumpkin-head clip, and a vampire clip are planned and not for sale. Those pages are zombie couple and pumpkin head and vampire.
